For many, our national anthem has become synonymous with what it means to be an American. But for so many others, including Black Americans, it has become a reminder of the past, leading to the adoption of Lift Every Voice and Sing as the Black National Anthem! This year, the Super Bowl played both, and it's clear the divide in America is still very real. Is there room for both?
